Not available yet: licensed recorded audio, native-language explanation packs (Hindi, Tamil, …), and reviewed level-graded variants. These will appear here with size, licence and version before anything is downloaded.

Using ? of about ? available to this site. Persistent storage: not granted (the browser may clear data when space is low).
Local storage is not a cloud backup and is not encrypted. Anyone using this browser profile can see it. A private session keeps this tab in memory only; it cannot guarantee forensic erasure.

Nothing is fetched behind your back
The starter pack is part of the app itself, so there is no hidden download. Optional capabilities — device voices and on-device speech recognition — are provided by your browser and are checked, not assumed.
Your data, your file
Export creates a JSON file with only the sections you select. Audio is excluded unless you tick it. Restore checks the file’s format, version and checksum before changing anything.
Questions
Is local storage a backup?
No. Browsers can clear site data, and private windows forget everything. Export regularly if your history matters to you.
What is a private session?
In a private session this tab keeps everything in memory only. Closing the tab forgets it. It does not guarantee forensic erasure.
Are there language packs for Hindi or Tamil explanations?
Not yet. Native-language explanations will only be added as separately reviewed packs.
